Goodbye our Master Rapper..
Francis Duranco Magalona known as the Master Rapper / Kiko, son of Pancho & Duran Magalona was born on October 4, 1964 & sadly he left us last March 6, 2009 ; 12:20pm at the age of 44 due to his illness, Leukemia. On his death, he left his wife, Pia Arroyo-Magalona & his 8 children, he had also left his grieving friends and his avid fans & supporters.
In the past 44 years of God sharing our beloved Francis M. w/ us, we witnessed his life, Francis life had been full of colors like his song, Kaleidoscope. [Kaleidoscope-an instrument which exhibits a variety of beautiful colors & symmetrical form by means of mirror reflection]. Francis had been in the showbiz industry at an early age, he had been one of our best Singer-Actor in the industry, it was in his blood to be a natural Actor-Singer like his parents. He started as a dancer, as years passed he started to act but Kiko had been more popular and more loved by the people because of his skill & talent in rapping, he had started rapping in the year of 1990. It wasn't an ordinary rapping, every songs he made had been so meaningful & inspirational to all people especially to us, teenagers.
Francis M. was not only my idol in the showbis industry but he was also my ideal father & husband. He had loved and cared for his wife in their 20 years of marriage. Even though he was busy w/ his work, he always sees to it that he was able to spend time w/ his family. He had been so close to his children & to his wife, he always prioritize them, he spend every special occassions with them. He had been a Cool Dad to his children, thats the main reason why I idolize him.
Aside from being our Master Rapper, Kiko had been so talented. He also loves painting & photography. He had also started a clothing company, all the designs of his clothes were showing love for our country, Philippines. Through his clothes we had seen him being a Makabayan. He always encouraged us to be proud of our own country. Kiko had been a good model to us teenagers & an example of a true Makabayan.
On Francis Magalona's death, many people are grieving, he was a great loss to the showbiz industry, to his family, to his friends, to his supporters & to our country. I admit, that I myself was really sad because of his death but I'm also happy that God had taken Francis w/ Him, to end his sufferings, I know it was hard for hin to go through 8 months of theraphy & always going in & out of the hospital.
I'm glad that God had let us borrowed a person named, FRANCIS D. MAGALONA even for a short period of time. He had inspired many people. I'll always remember Mr. Francis M.
He will always have a special place in my heart that nothing or no one can ever fill up.
He will always be My Master Rapper..
